STRUCTURAL MOCKUP v2 — for developer reference only. Not final branding, copy, or photography. Purpose: show where each element should sit and why, based on the CRO review + naming/structure decisions agreed 30 Jul 2026. Boxes with a dashed yellow border are notes, not page content.
Why this exists: “The Footballers' School” is the master brand you already own the domain for, and it's already used on the Shopify pre-season page. Putting it as a small tag under the main logo ties the whole site together without replacing the Regent's Park FC identity. Nav now splits the old single “Club Shop” link into Kit Shop (playing kit) and Merch Shop (lifestyle/streetwear), matching the two-shop model We Make Footballers use.
★★★★★ 4.8/5 (from Google/Trustpilot) 350+ players 37 league championships 15 Gothia Cup tours FA-affiliated · DBS-checked coaches
Why this exists: These stats currently sit halfway down the homepage. Competitors (WMF Kingston, DM Elite) put their strongest proof points directly under the header, before a visitor has to scroll. Real review score + safeguarding line removes two common parent hesitations immediately.

Start Your Pathway
Why this exists: This is the single biggest change recommended in the CRO review. The current homepage uses one tone for both a 5-year-old and a 17-year-old. Splitting the hero into two tracks lets each visitor self-select in 2 seconds and see language built for them — Junior Footballers' School copy stays warm and reassuring; Performance Pathway copy borrows the tone already proven on the Shopify pre-season page (discipline, results, real success stories). Both now sit under the one master brand, "The Footballers' School". Replace placeholder image blocks with real training photography per group.

Not sure which age group your child fits into?

Enter their date of birth and gender — we'll show the right sessions instantly.

Why this exists: This tool already exists on the site but is buried two-thirds down the page. Moving it directly under the hero turns a browsing parent into a booking parent faster.

Why this exists: Agreed 30 Jul 2026 — the site moves from 7 fragmented groups (which also reused the club badge instead of real photos) down to 5 clean groups: Regent's Cubs, Girls U7–U11, Boys U7–U11, Youth Girls U12–U18, Youth Boys U12–U18. Handy side effect: the U12–U18 groups line up exactly with the Performance Pathway hero track above, and U7–U11/Cubs line up with Junior Footballers' School. Holiday Camps and the Gothia Cup stay as separate programme callouts, not age-group tiles, since they cut across all five groups. Each tile still needs a real photo, not the club badge.
Shop

Two shops, two purposes

Mirroring how We Make Footballers split their store — official kit vs everyday club merch.

OFFICIAL PLAYING KIT

Kit Shop

Match and training kit for every squad — shirts, shorts, socks and accessories, sized 4XS to 2XL.

Shop Kit

LIFESTYLE & STREETWEAR

Merch Shop

Hoodies, caps and everyday wear for players, parents and fans — Regent's Park, off the pitch.

Shop Merch
Why this exists: theregents.co.uk already sells kit under "Regents Kit". Splitting it visually into a Kit Shop and a separate, more fashion-led Merch Shop — the way WMF runs shop.wemakefootballers.com alongside their Kit Locker store — fits the "trendy, cool London club" positioning and gives casual fans/parents a reason to buy who aren't there for playing kit.

⭐ FROM REGENT'S PARK TO ARSENAL

We do make footballers for every level

Louis started exactly where our U12–U18 players are today. Years of consistent work through our Regents Footballer Pathway and the Gothia Cup programme earned him a route to Arsenal FC.

One of Regent's fave players over the years is James Milner who showed us what hard work looks like.

Now here's proof that those habits can lead somewhere special.

Louis Zecevic-John started exactly where you are today—at Regent's Park Football Club.

Every extra run.

Every extra touch.

Every training session when nobody was watching.

Louis developed his game through years of consistent work at Regent's, earning the opportunity to join Arsenal.

Watch Louis during his Gothia Cup journey.

Notice how hard he works.

Notice how often he moves without the ball.

Notice the intensity he brings to every moment.

Then begin writing your own story.

GAME MENTALITY

Every player dreams of playing at the highest level.

The difference is rarely talent alone.

Successful players build habits long before the season begins.

This programme isn't simply about getting fit.

It's about building the mindset that great footballers share.

Discipline.

Consistency.

Responsibility.

Resilience.

This is the kind of story a 15-year-old (and their parent) is looking for — and it's already true. It just isn't on the homepage yet.

Why this exists: WMF Kingston and DM Elite both lead their older-age-group pages with named alumni and real outcomes. Regent's already has this story (used well on the Shopify pre-season page) — it just needs surfacing on the main site for the Performance Pathway track.
What parents say

Real families, real feedback

Sample layout only — replace with three genuine, distinct parent quotes.

★★★★★

"[Real quote needed] — specific, genuine feedback from a named parent, ideally mentioning a coach or moment."

★★★★★

"[Real quote needed] — a second, distinct quote. Avoid reusing the same wording across cards."

Parent name · Age group, area
★★★★★

"[Real quote needed] — a third, distinct quote, ideally from a Performance Pathway parent."

Parent name · Age group, area
Why this exists: The live homepage currently repeats the same testimonial text under three names, and two of the three still contain Latin placeholder copy. This needs three genuine, distinct quotes before launch — not just a design fix.
Why parents trust us

Everything a parent checks, before they book

✔ FA-affiliated club
✔ DBS-checked coaches
✔ Qualified coaching staff
✔ 4.8★ average rating
✔ Safeguarding policy in place
Why this exists: None of these currently appear on the homepage. They cost nothing to add and directly answer the questions a parent is silently asking before they hand over payment details.

OUR STORY

Built on a promise made on a training pitch in Bolivia

Our founder set out to find the best youth coaching programme on the planet. The trail led him to Santa Cruz, Bolivia — and everything Regent's Park FC has become since starts there.

Book a Free Trial
Why this exists: This replaces the current generic About headline (“Innovative, Imaginative, Forward Thinking”, once the “INNIVOTIVE” typo is fixed) with the strongest, most authentic story on the whole site — currently buried on the separate Gothia page. Leading with it here means every visitor sees it, not just the few who find the Gothia page.
Why parents trust us

Credentials, not just claims

✔ FA Charter Standard Community Club (2019)
✔ Partnered with Tahuichi FC, Bolivia
✔ Partnered with Athletic Bilbao
✔ Partnered with Queens Park Rangers
✔ DBS-checked coaches
Why this exists: All five of these are already mentioned in the current About page copy — just buried in paragraph text rather than pulled out as visible proof. Costs nothing to fix, adds trust immediately.
REAL PHOTO: John McCulloch, or the Bolivia trip / Tahuichi partnership

Where the philosophy comes from

Before founding Regent's Park FC, John McCulloch set out to find the best youth coaching programme in the world. Paul Gardner, the respected football writer at World Soccer Magazine, pointed him toward three clubs doing it better than anyone: Ajax, Sporting, and Tahuichi.

John chose Tahuichi — and in 2006 travelled to Santa Cruz, Bolivia to see it for himself, bringing his then-girlfriend along as a Spanish speaker. What he found was a club that had won the Gothia Cup ten times over and, at the time, every South American youth championship going. Not just talent — a genuine world-class system.

It's why Regent's Park plays in green tops and red shorts to this day — a direct nod to the Tahuichi kit John saw on that trip — and why the club has sent teams to the Gothia Cup every year since 2011.

John's own football education didn't stop there. He spent over 12 years as a professional footballer, which is where he first saw, up close, what separates good coaching from the rest. He later completed his UEFA B coaching badges, including practical work at the QPR Academy. Today, he stays involved behind the scenes — still just as passionate about developing the coaching team as he was on that trip to Bolivia.

Meet the coaching team →
Why this exists: Expanded 30 Jul 2026 with the fuller founder story as supplied by John — the Paul Gardner/World Soccer Magazine recommendation, the choice between Ajax, Sporting and Tahuichi, the trip with his now-wife as Spanish speaker, the Tahuichi-inspired kit colours, and John's own 12+ years as a professional footballer plus UEFA B badges and QPR Academy placement. Worth double-checking the spelling of “Paul Gardner” before this goes live, and confirming whether “girlfriend” should read as fiancée/wife by publish date.
The Tahuichi effect
✔ 10× Gothia Cup champions (Tahuichi, at the time of John's visit)
✔ Every South American youth title, at the time
✔ Green & red kit — a direct Tahuichi tribute
What we build

The habits that outlast any single season

D

Discipline

Shown up to, and built through, every single session — not just on matchday.

C

Confidence

Grown through structured challenge, not pressure — on and off the pitch.

R

Resilience

Built by a club culture that backs players through setbacks, not just wins.

B

Belonging

A community from the first session — parents tell us this is what stays with them.

Why this exists: These four words are pulled directly from your own real parent testimonials and existing site copy (confidence, resilience, self-belief, community) rather than invented — so the values section reads as true to what parents already say, not a marketing wishlist.
THE GOTHIA CUP

The tournament that started it all

Every year, Regent's Park players get the chance to compete at the Gothia Cup — the same tournament that inspired the club's founding. It's often a player's first taste of international competition, and for many families, an unforgettable experience.

Why this exists: Keeps the practical Gothia Cup information (dates, how to qualify, logistics) one click away rather than removing it — so this still supports the Performance Pathway funnel, per the checklist note in section 3.
In their words
★★★★★

"Regents Park FC has meant so much to our family. The amazing coaching has helped both our sons grow not only in football but also in confidence, resilience, and self-belief. From day one, we've felt welcomed into this community. Our first Gothia Cup with our 12 year old was unforgettable — seeing him build strong friendships with his teammates and the smile on his face throughout the experience was incredibly special."

Michelle, parent of a U12 player
Why this exists: Real quote supplied 30 Jul 2026 — chosen for this page specifically because it mentions the Gothia Cup directly, tying the testimonial to the story above rather than sitting generically.
Regent's Park FC — Youth Boys U12-U18 — Age-Group Page Template Mockup (for developer reference)
STRUCTURAL MOCKUP — this is the reusable template for all 5 age-group pages, shown here as Youth Boys U12-U18. Not final branding, copy or photography. Purpose: show Tony the one layout that serves all five groups — only the tag, headline, benefits, proof-point and photos change per group. Yellow dashed boxes are notes, not real content.

PERFORMANCE PATHWAY · YOUTH BOYS U12–U18

Train with purpose. Play for something bigger.

Structured, competitive development for boys serious about reaching the next level — real match preparation, real coaching, a real pathway.

Book a Free Trial
Why this exists: Same headline/tag pattern as the Performance Pathway hero on the homepage, so a parent who clicked through recognises where they are. For the Youth Girls U12-U18 page, swap “Boys” for “Girls” and keep everything else — same template, different tag.
What this age group gets

Built for players ready to compete

  • Structured technical and tactical coaching, run by experienced coaches
  • Regular competitive match play, not just training drills
  • A clear pathway toward trials and representative football
  • Physical development suited to the teenage growth stage
  • Mental resilience and match-day mindset coaching
  • A genuine team culture — friendships that last beyond the season
Why this exists: Written fresh rather than reusing the live site's “our U7–U11 programme offers...” line that's currently mistakenly pasted onto the Boys U12-U16 and Girls U12-U16 pages (flagged in the main report, section 12). Each group needs its own accurate copy — this is what the Youth version should say.
See a session

What training actually looks like

VIDEO: unique training footage for Youth Boys U12–U18 — not the video currently duplicated across all 7 age-group pages
Why this exists: Every age-group page on the live site currently embeds the exact same video, twice in a row (flagged in section 12 of the main report). Each of the 5 groups should have its own footage — even a short clip specific to this group is better than one generic video repeated everywhere.
REAL PHOTO: Louis Zecevic-John, Gothia Cup or match action
FROM REGENT'S PARK TO ARSENAL

This is where Louis started

Louis Zecevic-John trained in this exact age group before earning his move to Arsenal. Years of consistent work, on days nobody was watching, got him there.

Read Louis's full story →
Why this exists: Short, fresh version agreed 30 Jul 2026 — not a copy-paste of the full story already used on the Shopify pre-season page and the homepage mockup. Two sentences plus a link keeps the credibility without repeating the same paragraphs a third time. On the Youth Girls U12-U18 page, this section can stay or be swapped for a second alumni story if/when one exists — flagged as a medium-term priority in Tony's checklist (section 6).

What parents say
★★★★★

"The Gothia Cup has been such a special experience for my son. It's his first time, and he's loved every minute — the football, the atmosphere, and the memories he's made. Being part of this club has made it even more special. We're so grateful for the opportunity and everyone who's helped make this an unforgettable experience."
